Renier recently broke ground on Horsepower Farms, new storage condominiums in Powell. The groundbreaking ceremony was for the staff, friends, media, and future condo owners of Horsepower Farms and was to celebrate the kickoff of construction for the new local business on Home Road.
Located just to the west of Liberty High School in the city of Powell, the storage facility will total over 60,000 square feet and feature a clubhouse for its members. Condo owners have the ability to purchase up to four contiguous, deeded condos to create a truly customized climate-controlled space to meet their individual storage needs. From storing collector cars, trucks, and motorcycles, to RV’s and other recreational vehicles, at Horsepower Farms -- there really is space for it all.
Horsepower Farms is the vision of local business owner, Chip Vance. Through his specialty dealership and repair shop, Auto Assets, Vance saw the need for storage options not only for his clients but for those that live outside of the Delaware County region. Through Renier’s design-build process, Architectural Alliance designed the condo community, bringing Vance’s vision to life. The campus is scheduled for completion by June 2021 and is intended to serve those with a passion for cars with an added social benefit to be with like-minded, local enthusiasts.
This will be Vance’s second project with Renier Construction. Vance says, “We were extremely pleased with the process and final product when Renier built Auto Assets. When I had this vision for Horsepower Farms, I didn’t think twice about partnering with Renier again to execute and bring this project to life for me.”
“Renier is pleased to be working with Chip again and be a part of the design & development of this remarkable facility,” said Bill Heifner, Founder of Renier Construction. “We’re excited to break ground and bring Chip’s vision to life.”
