Renier Trap Shooting Team Targets a Great Cause and Helps Raise Over $50,000 for Boy Scouts
Four years in a row, the Renier Trap Team took top honors for their competitive skill at the 9th Annual Clay Target Classic, benefiting the Boys Scouts of America Simon Kenton Council.
First-time shooters to seasoned pros participated in the competition knowing their involvement would raise funds to assist in delivering the Scouting program to more than 22,000 youth. Thirteen five-member trap teams, and thirteen five-member sporting clay teams competed. This year’s event raised over $50,000.

The Simon Kenton Council, one of the largest Boy Scout councils in the nation serves 17 counties in central and southern Ohio, and Greenup County in northern Kentucky.
