Renier's Newest Completed Dealership — Infiniti of Easton Opens
Germain opens Infiniti dealership at Easton after recession-era delay
Germain Infiniti of Easton is a reality after nine years on the drawing board as Germain Motor Co. opened its newest dealership Monday.
Construction on the more than 10,000-square-foot building at the north end of Easton Town Center began last fall, but Germain had been sitting on the Infiniti franchise since 2004.
Owner Steve Germain previously told me that just as plans to start the dealership revved up around 2008, the recession hit and stalled that.
The Germain Infiniti operation is neighbors with Germain’s other Easton operations including Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Smart dealerships.
Renier Construction Inc. did the construction based on an Architectural Alliance Ltd. design.
Almost 9,000 square feet of the building is the showroom and lounge, with the remainder a service drop-off area. The service operation will be off site. According to information from Renier, the design is a blend of the Infiniti look, such as a signature glass wall, with the traditional Easton brick-and-limestone elements.
Germain Infiniti is the second area dealership for Nissan Motor Co.’s luxury brand. Infiniti of Columbus, owned by local car dealer Dan Schmidt, is in Dublin.
