Plesich Welcomed as New Member to the Columbus Region Logistics Council
William (Bill) Heifner, president of Renier Construction announced that William R. Plesich, project executive for Renier Construction has become a new member of the Columbus Region Logistics Council (CRLC). The CRLC is an initiative of the Columbus Chamber and industry-led group that serves as a catalyst for the growth in the region’s logistics capability. The Council leads the implementation of a strategic roadmap that will continue to grow the region’s logistics assets.
“Bill’s membership to the Logistics Council will not only provide new opportunities to shape the future of Columbus, but will allow him to be more fully engaged with key leaders in the area who share a passion and understanding of the logistics and transportation marketplace,” stated Renier President Bill Heifner.
At Renier, Bill is responsible for account management and development for Renier’s transportation, manufacturing, distribution, industrial, and medical office clients. He is an integral member of the pre-construction team, helping to ensure that clients’ facilities are cost-effective and flexible, and that each client receives the maximum value for their construction investment. Renier Construction has been a member of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years.
“I am pleased to welcome Bill Plesich of Renier Construction as a new member to the Columbus Region Logistics Council,” said CRLC Director Jeff Zimmerman. “Bill’s enthusiasm, experience and participation in Council Committee activities will assist in advancing the growth of the Region’s logistics capabilities,” added Zimmerman.
Plesich brings the same level of commitment and integrity at Renier to his volunteer leadership roles. He is a member of four area chambers and is a member of the board of trustees for the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of the University of Steubenville, Plesich resides in downtown Columbus.
