Featured Project: The AngelWorks Foundation |
|
 | Ellie Hite, AngelWorks founder, speaks to some of Team Renier during a luncheon. Renier Construction recently had the opportunity to learn a bit more about how they have helped the AngelWorks Foundation in the past. AngelWorks is a 100% volunteer, public non-profit organization. They are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children diagnosed with pediatric cancer by connecting with and assisting families in their time of need. The holidays are typically a time of joy. Unfortunately, there are some families that feel hopeless due to medical expenses. Instead of thinking about fun Christmas activities, they’re filled with worry. To brighten the season, AngelWorks surprises almost 100 families with a full Christmas experience – all anonymously. Typically, the families that are selected have a child battling a life-threatening diagnosis of pediatric cancer. These families almost always have more than one child, and healthy siblings often get lost in the shuffle during the cancer battle. AngelWorks makes sure that ALL of the children in a family experience Christmas. The families do not ask for help and they do not know in advance. The goal is to bring a little happiness and hope to others throughout the season.
What we’re up to: This year, Renier has a new goal with this incredible organization! We’re not only contributing financially to the organization, we’ve adopted an entire family with five children. Renier employees have donated gifts from the children’s letters to Santa and will be providing their entire list to them.
In addition, one of the events that AngelWorks hosts is a preparation party. It is a two-night event where volunteers (including members of Team Renier) will wrap ALL of the presents for the nearly 100 families that will be adopted. The second event that Team Renier and their families will attend, is the Sweets & Treats with Santa event on December 15th.
If you’d like to support this amazing organization - you can learn more about them here, follow them on their Facebook page, AND/OR make a direction contribution via this link here. |

Renier has very recently completed a project in Athens, Ohio for Oakview Dermatology. This beautiful two-story, 20,000 sq. ft. new office building will allow them to serve a greater number of patients, as well as increase the services available. This new location opened for business on Monday, December 3, 2018.
While we don’t have the final pictures yet, we do have two photos that we can share. One is of the incredible two-story, double-sided fireplace in their main lobby and the other is their new cosmetic and product room. |

Earlier this year we shared that we broke ground on a new standalone location for The Middlefield Banking Company. The full-service branch, located on Sawmill Road in Powell, was completed in five months and features three drive-through lanes, 2,800 square feet as well as a designated area for children inside the lobby.
Charles Moore, President, Central Ohio The Middlefield Banking Company shared a bit about his experience in working with Renier, “They kept things on-time and served as our advocate… We went to Renier with the need to expand our presence in Central Ohio and what Renier delivered for Middlefield Bank is excellent. Frankly, it’s one of the best branches that exists in the city today."
He continued, “I’ve built about 30 bank offices in the last several years of my career and this has gone better than most. The methodology that Renier uses in managing their projects has been critical. It bridges a big gap which resulted in the project coming in at budget.”

Germain Infiniti was in need of an additional standalone service facility to maintain and perform light maintenance and repair on their customers’ vehicles. Renier completed an ancillary 8,000 sq. ft. service center for the dealership that features six service bays, energy saving skylights and a Big Ass fan for additional circulation and is located on Easton Way in Columbus, OH.

Renier's Mascot FINALLY Has a Name In September we asked for some suggestions for our mascot, the cardinal. The cardinal has been in the Renier family since 2015 and needed a proper name. Thank you to all that participated. We had over 45 submissions!! There were so many great names and the Renier team had a hard time making a decision.
Without further ado:

Testimonials | "Renier’s organization, preparation and up-front planning make the difference. The end product is a ‘wow.’ It’s beautiful. I’m very proud of our campus. If you’re looking for a quality facility and you want to work with a contractor who takes the frustration out of the process and makes it easy, Renier would be the first place I’d call."
